Job description of Department of Finance and Urban Economy:

  • - Performing other tasks assigned or delegated by the superior within the scope of job description.
  • - Preparation of reports on financial performance and balance for submission the superior as well as making attempts to make optimal use of liquidity.
  • - Control and monitoring the correct allocation of budget to different units and fulfilment of financial obligations within the limits of allocations approved in cooperation with the Department of Planning.
  • - Receiving all strategic programs and policies of Tehran Municipality in fields of administration, finance, logistics, warehouse, and planning and communicating them to the relevant unit to be implemented.
  • - Evaluation of any proposal for making changes or revisions to the annual budget and establishment of continuous collaboration with Department of Planning and Budget for applying the necessary changes on the annual budget.
  • - Performing all financial affairs including receipts and payments, reconciliation of the accounts of natural and legal persons, and issuance of documents and banking cheque for contractors, in full compliance with regulations.
  • - Observing all the rules and regulations of Tehran Municipality and taking necessary measures for proper implementation of all regulations and guidelines communicated by Department of Finance and Administration of Tehran Municipality.
  • - Receiving municipality toll including renovation, craftsmen, urban, residue, etc. in accordance with the relevant regulations and cooperation with Municipal Income Department.
  • - Conducting all affairs related to orders, logistics, warehousing, and property registration including forecast and procurement of required supplies and equipment for different units and taking the necessary measures for timely registration, maintenance, and repair of them.
  • - Collecting, organizing, storing, and updating all data and information related to financial and administrative affairs, in cooperation with Department of Urban Development Planning and Councils Affairs, in order to be used in planning and development of databases.
