Main duties of mayor of district:
  1. -Taking plans and policies approved by municipality in connection with duties of restrict, and planning to implement them
  2. -Supervising the implementation of all laws and regulations related to duties, and taking necessary measures for proper implementation of all manuals and guidelines issued by the Municipality, and continuous information about changes
  3. -Controlling and supervising the maintenance and management of movable and immovable properties of municipality of district
  4. -Controlling transactions of municipality of district including any sale and purchase of movable and immovable properties, rent and lease under the name of municipality and dealing with matters related to lands and properties located on civil projects, according to financial and transaction manuals of municipality and based on delegated powers
  5. - Controlling the estimated annual budget proposal of district according to forms and manuals issued by Central Municipality, and requesting for budget modification or amendment.
  6. - Monitoring execution of current and civil expenses within the approved budget, and providing financial reports and required statistics according to legal requirements and/or manuals and regulations of Municipality
  7. - Note: The mayor and Financial and Administration Vice-Mayor of districts are responsible to execute budget of municipality of district. Any transfer of duties by the Mayor to each of the agents of municipality would not be a reason for disclaimer
  8. -Monitoring the collection of duties and other legal revenues of municipality within the district according to related duties and regulations, and trying to encourage people to pay their duties in a timely manner and appreciating cooperation of citizens
  9. -Supervising administrative, personnel, service and procurement affairs within the district according to rules and regulations
  10. - Suggesting the name of members of trade and take-over commissions according to related regulations
  11. -Supervising the issuance of construction permit, completion of work certificate, business license, certificate of clean records, project inquiry and breakdown demand and generally, controlling construction within the entire region to avoid unlawful construction operations according to issued regulations and manuals
  12. -Supervising the execution of civil operations such as construction, reform and development of roadways, sidewalks and squares, street curbs, asphalt work and tessellation of routes and streets according to issued regulations and manuals
  13. -Taking necessary forecasts and measures to protect the district against natural disasters (earthquake, flood, etc.) and abnormal events within the framework of duties of municipality, and warding-off dangers over public routes and places in cooperation with relevant departments
